Meeting Pot

Privacy Policy

Last Modified: October 16, 2018

MeetingPot is an easy mean to share virtual business cards between the participants of a meeting, and to share notes. You can have different cards for office, sport club, and friends.

When you use the applications, you’ll share some information with the server, so, in a certain sense, with us. We want to be clear about the information we collect, how we use it, and the controls we give you to access, update, and delete your information.

That’s why you can read below this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about anything in our Privacy Policy, just contact us support@meetingpot.biz.

Information collected by the applications and usage

There are four categories of information we collect:

· 1. Information related to your account

· 2. Information describing your virtual business cards

· 3. Information about meetings in which you participate

· 4. Information to improve the quality of the application

1. Information related to your account

That information is related with how we communicate with you:

· A reference e-mail, one of your permanent e-mail address, which is also the login for the connection to the application

· The password to validate the login.

You e-mail will be used to send you a temporary password, when you ask for a new account. You can change your password.

2. information describing your virtual business cards

You can create different business cards. The information for each contains what you want the app to distribute to other members of the meetings in which you participate. That's why you can create as many cards as you want. For example, a card by way of presenting yourself: one or more business cards, family cards, a sports team card, etc.

You decide what information you want to put in which cards.

3. Information about meetings in which you participate

You decide if you want to participate in a meeting, and with which of your cards. The map information will then be shared with the participants.

At the meeting, you can write short notes to share with participants.

When you create a meeting, you will need to give the meeting a name, time, and possibly location. If you have given access to the location service, the application will offer a location. This is the only use of your location.

4. Information to improve the quality of the application

In order to improve the application, some information are collected

· The type of terminal

· The type of errors detected during the execution of the application, for the purpose of debugging

· Potentially, monitoring information related to the trends and usage, for the purpose of improving the service
